The April 4th-6th Cannon beach workshop is geared towards crafing the perfect inspiration and creative influence.
The Cannon beach meet-up will be packed with a fantastic itinerary to allow you become better at finding your creative inspirations.
Hosted by Simon Ly & Team, the Cannon beach workshop will be a once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunity in understanding the intricacies of fine art photography. And how to find your style and voice in creating compelling imagery.
During this 3-day 2-night photography workshop, participants will explore their photography dream imagery in a group environment.
From the very nascent stages of the workshop, participants will be walked through film theory and film photography techniques, including light, posing and effects of scanning on the final finished image.
The goal of the workshop is to equip you with understanding skills that will set you apart in your trade.
By the end of the workshop, Simon Ly and team hope to have helped you shoot more emotion-evoking film photography. And still, have fun at the beach while at it.
The workshop’s program is well curated to handle the needs of all film and digital photography participants. We believe that your dreams and artistic aspirations are a source of inspiration to the world. This will include a shoots designed by the stellar Stacey Foley Design.
Here is what to expect:
- There will be a one-on-one interaction with Simon and Stacey on a photography SWOT analysis session on Day 1.
- An activity-packed Day-2 with morning and sunset shoots; brilliant techniques to unique presentation by Joy Wed & Richard Photo Lab to SEO, social media integration, website building and marketing strategies that will keep you winning.
- Day 3 will be the ultimate work-play amalgamate. A commix of beautiful cannon beach shoots out, good food and music to help you enjoy the beach serenity.
Since we would love to focus on delivering our promise, we will not provide transportation during the workshop due to logistics complexity. We, therefore, request all participants to plan earlier and suggest liaising with others for carpooling deals. Also, since we expect to have a multi-diverse group of film and digital photography attending the workshop, we will not provide the films. You can plan to carry an average of 20-35 rolls for use at the Cannon beach photography.
Participants will be provided with lunch, dinner and snacks at no extra cost. We will also have a full kitchen available for use to all.
Cannon Beach has a brilliant allure that is perfect for photography, in rain or sunshine. Come prepared to have fun in either a cold or warm weather.
We look forward to seeing you there.
